In case anyone out there is interested, I was recently interviewed by the Miami Herald about the research I am doing in attempting to document the bird species present on Barry University's campus. You can check it out at this link:

They included one of the owl pictures I had taken in the actual article, not sure why they didn't post it online, the story is about them, not me...oh well. I'm glad to get my birds some publicity, they deserve it ^_^

Thanks to everyone so much for all of your comments and for taking a look at my pictures, I appreciate it to no end! I am truly amazed at how many people have found my photos worth their time to look at when there are far more talented avian photographers out there on deviantart than I, but regardless I am glad to be worthy of the honor, as all of you yourselves are amazing artists^_^
I apologize to all of you for not having been able to comment on your work and reply to your comments on my work as frequently as I might normally be able to do so. Things are quite hectic with classes and gathering data, in addition to my poor talent at managing my time well, it all amounts to me being behind in a lot of things, deviantart not the least of them. Just know that I comment as I can, and that I really appreciate all of your comments on my work I just try to divide my time between submitting pictures (particularly of new species), returning comments, and commenting. At any rate, thanks so much everyone
